Ok whats the RPM Range and HPbennifit of this intake if any at all?

lol did you make that? maybe if u put a 4 inch instead of that 2.5 inch pipe you would have gained. and if u opened the ports up

Nope I didn't make it I was thinking about making it thats why I made the thread and asked first before I made a mistake . Not only that my Neon is Black and doesnt have a green Engine bay.

i see 2big advantages coming from this.
1) you can tune how long you want ur intake runners to be (shorter runners better for higher rpm and vice verce)
2) you can put any throttle body on you want so long as you can convert any and all necessary sensors.
oh and 1 last good thing is that you can get rid of a very anoying 90 deg. bend (after the throttle body befor the plenum).
oh and of course you could also choose for yourself how big (how much volume) your plenum will have.

Thats 3 inch pipe, there is no 2.5 inch pvc...

where did u get the picture? u got one of the thottle body? i want to see how he mounted and if its a stock throttle body. hey it cant hurt to experiment with a cheap investment. because you always can find a new plastic one dirt cheap if not and alumium one that u can make a custom intake. the onli thing i would have done differnt is i would make a venturi affect with the piece going to the throttle body so it was tapered for better flow

You might possibly be able to get 2.5" pvc, buy you cant get it from a hardware store like lowes or home depot...

that is off jeff b's sohc... one of very few 200hp NA sohc neons.
And this intake was on his car when the 206hp was dyno'ed... heres some more pics... oh and it was made out of 3 inch pvc...

*im pretty sure ud get pretty decent gains out of it the air would have less distance and curves to go threw in order to get into the engine
