Default Engine Stand

how do you attach a motor to the engine stand? i got a Duralast engine stand and about to put an engine on it but i dont see how. Like i can see where things go but how do you attach it so that the engine doesn't move off it. like bolt wise. or do the little stubs on the arms just go into the bolt holes?

You get good grade bolts that will thread into the block (they will be metric btw), put washers on the heads of the bolts then put the bolts through the stand and thread them either into the bell housing or the back of the engine, I belive there are some extra holes back there that work...

i just put my block on an engine stand a little while ago...
for the 2 top bolts, i used the bolts for the passenger side motor mount (the bolts that go through the mount into the motor bracket)
for the bottom 2 bolts i used 2 of the bolts from the passenger side motor mount braket with not on them (the bolts that hold the bracket to the motor that go through the timing cover)
the nuts i used were from the top slider bolt for the alternator
