Alright i have a 95 neon with a 2.0 SOHC
The other day my transmission blew up..Put a hole in the case so i decided to replace it with one from a junkyard. Paid $150 took it home put it in and now it wont move. Acts like its in nutral. Everything is hooked up right... MAybe i put too much oil in? Maybe the torque converter is bad? Whats up?

Oh yea when you pull the dipstick the oil isnt warm after it runs for like 20min..

 

hmm not too sure with an auto trans,I'm not sure but try moving the shifter lever by hand,I believe if it clicks or you fell it click ts going into gear,have someone get on the brake pedal for you though.Was the junkyard pulled by you?Best bet is to inspect best you can and if not I'm geussing they give a warranty,most jy's do for 30 days.

 

Yes they gave a warranty but getting this tranny out is a bitcha and i wann double check everything else before i do.
Dang..i dont really want to pull it out again
What would cause the oil not to circulate?
