Alright I pulled 3 codes when i tested my 98 neon. I got a 12 which is a direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles. Also I pulled a 32 which is a EGR system failure. Strangly enough i pulled a 72 and there isn't a 72 on the list. I thought maybe I made a mistake so i tryed it again and got it again. I was wondering wat the problems could be and how easy they are to fix.
My list says code 72 is "catalytic converter efficiency failure". I dont have my FSM here but I'll grab it when I go to the shop and see what it has to say. Should be up sometime tonight.
Thanks I must have a short list. I'm pretty sure the code 72 is because I have an aftermarket cat converter installed that doesnt have an 02 sensor and the computer just cant read it but the code 32 totally throws me off. If anyone knows what the problem could be please tell me.
