as it sits now, it has 17" wheels on it instead of the 14's, and has a bad ring on one cylinder.
still runs and drives, just smokes like an old lady.

Daz, why are you selling it man? It seems like everyone who gets an awesome neon going decides to part it out or sell it...

 

i got a great opportunity to do something else.
i was given an black neon sedan, and a month later, we got in a 92 talon tsi (turbo'd from the factory and awd). i was given the motor/trans/rearend/everything i need to make an awd neon with a 4g63t heart. i am in the process of making a full tube chassis for the black car and decided that 400+awhp with a stock motor would be a little bit less expensive.

so, with that said, i need to either sell the entire car, or part it out to help fund the tsi swap. i need to have cash for the AEM EMS, larger turbo, and fuel injectors.

 

So "as it sits" What all is done to the engine? Is it stock? Does all the mentioned above come with it? it is a 5 speed right? Are you willing to drive?

 

I would rather not drive it anywhere. i came home form work onw night, it was fine, started it up the next morning and it started smoking at idle, so i shut it off and have yet to fire it back up, this was about 2 weeks ago. i have been driving around another rig. i would think you would want to two it with a dolley or i could arrange shipping through my wrecking yard with DAS car shippers and lower the price on the car to compensate for the shipping.

sohc head with crane 12 cam and mild porting with less than 5k on it
hahn stage 1 16g turbo kit
36lb/hr injectors
greddy profecb electronic boost controller dual stage
autometer boost gauge
custom hood with functional scoop
30x12x3 intercooler with 3 in/outlets
60mm tb
i forget the bov name brand, super sequential tho
amm intake mani
3 inch custom exhaust running off the hahn 2.25 dp with dump
17 inch alloy wheels with good rubber
battery relocated in trunk with NHRA approved kill switch
depo projectors and turns
3.94 trans with dif saver tabs installed and tranny gone through when installed, looks good.
passenger air bag delete with oem air bag cover installed
sparco leather steering wheel
interior gutted down to dash and front seats and sun visors
1/4 inch wheel spacers in rear to clear trailing arms
new front and rear bumpers painted to match car with the front bumper having holes in it for the intercooler
golf radiator in core support
a/c system removed
alternator kill switch
new rod bearings less than 1k miles on them
solid front motor mount and bobble
could be more, this is just off the top of my head.

i could go 3k plus shipping if someone wants the entire car.

 

That is a hell of a deal...

 

so, this part out is on hold until next thursday. if the car does not sell by then, i will part it out.

someone please buy the whole car.

WOW 2500 dont i feel like and idiot.. i spent 2000 on my neon with a few bolt ons and ive put alot into it.. now im depresssed have a 12 second neon that would be sick!!! for a total of 3000 for a good running car..

well i guess i wouldnt apreciate it as much because i didnt do all the work or have all the work done.. but if i had the money your car would deffinantly be mine

 

i would buy it.....but that would be against my morals......its a sohc[:'(]
