ok i'm new to start. but my GF's car is a 97 neon 2.0 SOHC it had a small miss at speed(55/60) i changed the spark plug wires and it startedchugging bad i changed the plugs and it didnt change, so i put a valve cover gasket on it becuse it was leaking oil in the spark plug tubes. still did it.. so i changed the coil pack still does it...... what could it be? i'm out of idea's i tryed everything i know of...thanks for the help!

yea its on and flashing!!! but its throws a code for coil pack. i changed that and it still does it!!!! i know old(80's) turbo cars.. but thanks for the help

 

if the cel is flashing that is a EXTREAME misfire code... I know when you do the key dance and look at the list it will tell you its the coil pack but if you take it down and get the whole code pulled it will come up as a misfire code...

 

well what would cose this? i've done the codes and cleared the computer and it does it after a few miles but before that it runs great!!!!! then it'll start its crap
