Got my hopes up. I sent him a message telling him it is a scam dont waste your time because i am just going to turn it in to the police. I told him to send me money over paypal. Well i guess its back to the plan of taking it to the garage tomarow for the engine rebuild/swap.

As soon as you said "agent" you should have smelled a scam from a mile away. I would have told him to send me a money order and see what happens...

 

I got the same message once whem trying to sell a Ford truck bumper for a friend. Also said the same thing about removing the listing.

 

i would of said it was a scam from that doesnt even have time to say this car ???

 

yeah they try to get you to cash the check, then you pay the "agent" who is really themselfs, and they take your car... big ugly win-win situation for the thief.
