No electrical power!
Have 2 neons, both '97's, one SOHC, one DOHC.
It got REAL cold up here and had to use the battery charger/booster to start them. During one of the starts, my DOHC just stopped running and lost all power to cab (no lights, gauges, starter etc.) about 30 seconds after it started. Tried it again the next day, still no power to cab.
Was driving home the other neon (SOHC) a week later and IT died at a stop light. Same problem, no power. Towed it home, looked at battery, has good voltage.Cleaned connections, checked cables, they are good. Fusable link between starter and alt SEEMS OK. No blown fuses andrelays appear OK.Have power in several pin-outs on the Power Distribution Box by battery, but still no power in cab with key on.
Just for the heck of it, tried by DOHC that died last week and it had power now! With a boost, it started right up! Alt. belt now squeels like a pig though which is new.
Any ideas why no power??? Is there a circuit breaker/fuse somewhere I am missing? THANKS!

Finally warmed up enough to mess with it. You were right, while the neg cable clamp was good, the other end was all corroded at the point where the terminal is crimped on. Replaced it and voila! Fixed!
