Man, calm down. You asked the question this morning and some people may not know the answer. Ask on the org and you will be told to use the "search" button more than likely.

ORIGINAL: Mookie
To find transfer gears, you need to look in 1978 through 1980 L-Body cars. these were the Omni, Horizion, Charger, and Turismo. look in the cars with the 1.7L VW engine, and the auto trans. you can also find these gears in some early 80's carburated Minivans. the top gear has 49 teeth, while the bottom gear has 60 teeth. to remove the gears, simply pull the drivers wheel off, remove the acess panel, and expose the gears. now with a 32mm socket and a breaker bar with a pipe on it (the bolts are torqued down to 200ft/lbs) remove the nuts. then use a regular power steering wheel puller to remove the gears. they should come off easily.

I got mine at a local tranny shop for $30.It only took about 1/2 hour to install. Pretty muchall Chrysler 3 speed trannys from the 80's and 90's used the same gears.

dude seriously, I'm not trying to be a dick but we have helped you myself included with just about everything you have ever asked us... and I have acually done research on things for you that I dident know just to give you an answer...

As far as the gears go harley gave you an answer... Call to a transmission shop and say " hey can you get me a 1.22 gear from a 80's to 90's chrysler 3 speed tranny" and there you go... but yes the 2.2 used the same gear... why buy used if you can get new for 30 bucks...
