Hey Gang - Sorry I have not been on the forum inabout 6 months - Been Busy!!

Mainly wanted to say "Hi Again"

Well the racing season started this past weekend - Not GOOD!!!
Neon been sitting for a few months - Last race in Houston back in Oct 07 - car sat till Saturday when a racing buddy called and inquired what time I was going to show up at the track - I completely forgot about the race schedule
Saturday put the Neon back together from that last race- Had a bad CV Shaft, Broke the Alternator Brackets, and of course a dead battery. Fixed all of that Saturday then drove 4 hours to the Race Track Sunday to race after missing practice and qualify!- 1st 4 laps were good - then all heck breaks loose on the Neon.

P1391 - Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP
P0320 - no Crank Reference Signal at the PCM
P0622 - GenField not switching properly
P1478 - Battery Temp Voltage out of Range ( I have always had this code as there is no sensor)

Could not get the car over 100mph in the straight and weak acceleration! on the high side of each gear the car would start sputtering/jerking

What a mess - guess that will teach me for not prepping properly - especially on a race car that has been sitting for several months that I new I had damage on from the last race!

I did get luck and was able to beat out a Saturn that was having engine problems of his own!! So I came in 2nd to last!!

I notice alot of new names on the 1st gen forum!! Great to see new names!!

I notice only a few of the old farts posting - onlysee Slash and Spud!! are Das and Racerx55 still around??

Any way - I see buisness as usual on the Forum and look foward to working with everyone on getting back up to speed on the race track!

 

Das is still around, only shows up about once a week though...
I havent seen 55 in probally 3 months...

Das I dont know he said hes working alot more and I know he moved... but other then that I'm not sure...
