RPM's Increase When Clutch is Pushed in
When I am going along the highway and I am at a high rpm and I push the clutch in to shift, the rpms increase and the engine rev's up. Its almost like I am pushing the clutch in and I push the gas to give the engine more rpms. What would cause the engine to rev up when I push the clutch in to shift when I am driving.
check your throttle system first (throttle cable, throttle body etc.) a problem there would be easier to check than ur trans, and a cheaper fix. see if the cable is hanging up or if the throttle body is sticking open by opening it all the way while the car is off.
does the pedal snap back when you let off the gas immediatly?

I don't have a check engine light. And yes I am letting off the gas all the way before I shift. Because I let off the gas, push the clutch in, and the engine rev's up. I thought it might be the throttle position sensor, but I dont know if I should check that or not.
well a good way to check w/out buying a new sensor is to get a voltmeter and have someone else push on the gas while you check the voltage from that sensor. if it goes up and down a lot, then thats a good sign.
