I am owner of Neon 1996, DOHC, the tps sensor are out adjustment,please help me todo the correct setting of Throttle position sensor and throttle stoping screw, i need correct values to performing these adjutsments.

the tps slides into a slot on the side of the throttle body when the butterfly is closed. Im not aware of an adjustment that can be made to the thing. a new one is like 67.99 from autozone if you think you need one. its just held in by two torx screws i think.

there is no way to adjust the tps sensor... and do not touch the throtle stop screw period its the no no screw... theres only a few reasons you should ever touch it... and im not even going to start in to them for what your asking...

 

y is it such a big deal messin with that. if u go to low just go back a little bit. my neon idles at about 1500 rpms when its cold outside or when i push the clutch in and coastregaurdless of engine temp. but when its warm outside it will idle exactly at 1000 regaurdless of engine temp.

 

thats a bit high justin you should be at or around 800 to 900

 

well wat should i do about that how much do i turn that little screw
