Default new clutch

I just got my clutch replaced and I'm a little concerned because the clutch feels sort of floppy(sorry for lack of a better term). Before my clutch started going it took a significant amount of pressure to push it in, now I could do it by just resting my foot on it. Everything else about it seems like a brand new clutch, so basically what I'm asking is this something to be concerned about?

I'n not gonna act like I'm brilliant with cars, because I'm not. The clutch is about $500 and my mechanic ordered it so I'm not sure what kind it is, I was asking because I wanted to know what, if anything, to ask my mechanic about it. He's charging about $400 in service for replacing the clutch and for that kind of money I want to make sure its done right. Thanks neonracer I will definately ask him about that. I'm still open to any more ideas or suggestions so feel free to offer.

more then likely its your clutch cable that is streached... there non adjustable... ether get a new cable or do the zip tie trick...
