fan relay

Default fan relay

i have a 97 neon 2.0 sohc i need to know where the fan relay is on that year car. it isnt in the relay box under the hood so i dont know where it is . a friend told me the relay is on scewed on the body by the headlight and battery box but i dont see anything on over there.
i changed my temp senser and both of the fans work if i hard wire them but i dont want to do that ghetto ****. if any one knows were the relay is or what could be worng please let me know.

the relay is located UNDER the battery tray on the frame rail...
if you dont want to take the battery tray out, then the relay can be accessed from underneath the car

thank u. do u know if thay go bad alot of the time
o ya i got a go-ped to i put like 4k in it be for i got a car. it does like 45 with me
on it but like 50 with some one thats not as big as me.

basically.....
or if you can imagaine how many times that relay turns the fans on and off...especially if you car has around 100,000 miles on it.....the relay can eventually just wear out like any other electrical component

ya i see what u mean i got one today from a store by me for 40 bucks. so im going to put it in when my brother gets home so i can get his car and drive to my shop. if that dont work any idea what else it could be?

ok thanks and i hope its not that cuz i need the car to run and run good cuz i start a new job monday and it like 30 mins away. it wouldnt be good me calling them and saying send the tow truck that im going to drive today to pick me up cuz i just blow my motor on the highway.

I havent even been running fans for like a month now... when I tore out my a/c and I took out the condensor or what ever the hell you call that thing in front of the radator... It does absolutely fine intown in stop and go traffic and beating the absoulute **** out of it...normally I dont beat the **** out of my car but with the new motor going in on thursday might as well...
