hey i am just wondering... how will i know if i need a smaller underdrive pulley or be able to use the stock 2.4 pulley? i read somewhere that says "sometimes u need a underdrive pulley" how can it only be sometimes??? lol i just want to know in advance what i need thanks guys

 

the 2.4 crank pulley is bigger and will not clear ur engine bay unless you cut in to it.... also i think that the belts it uses are different than the 2.0

 

heres the deal...

95-00 2.4 blocks need to use a udp for a 2.0 due to the above mentioned reason you cant even drop the motor in it will hit the frame rail... plust the 2.4 pulley has different ribbed parts then the 2.0

01-up blocks commonly found in pt's, along with thesrt.would need to use the stock 2.0 pulley or an udp...
