no benefit, the r/t bottom is the same as any DOHC bottom same comp ratio

 

The Phantom Grip is not worth the money, and is not a real "posi" LSD. It will be helpful at your power level though. I was making something similar before for much less.

Ebay has good underdrive pulleys for abut $40. Good quality and good price.

Ebay also has neon header's for cheap there. That is where I got mine; made of stainless steel and tuned for a neon. It is a mid length with equal length runner. i love it. How it compares to a long tube, there is no hard evidence at the moment. It cost me $86 shipped for this dohc header.

A 2.5 catback exhaust pipe will compliment your header of choice well. Could even mate that to the stock dohc muffler.

Cams cost, but they also perform. You want power, you have to pay for it. I am getting some 10's for pretty cheap maybe. Looking for 16's though.

 

crane #10's are a waste of money....they dont really perform much better then the stock cams do

 

well i visited a guy neamed neonmike on neons.org, he sold me my r/t about half a year ago, we talked for a while

he says sicne i have the mopar ecu and iceman, that my car is getting more air and now needs to get more fuel.
he told me to get afuel pressure/regulator off an 02-05 noen and get bigger injectors, that will give me more power
then he says to get an underdrive pulley, soryy ghostneon, im not getting one off ebay.

then we agreed to get a 12 or 14 cam and port/polish the head, he knows a guy that will do it for cheap.

he says headers arent worht what they cost, and all they do it is rust, unless u break the bank evn more to get ceramic coated ones, whatever, so

any suggestions?

spud, im glad ur udp worked for you, but i am a firm believer in getting what you payed for and working smart not hard

i would rather pay 300+ for somehting i know is going to work and not break when i am in the middle of driving/racing, then pay cheaper for soemthing i dont know how stable it is.

i bought mine off of ebay about 3 years ago....made of light weight aluminum, has been very durable, and still works good...
mostly, i got it because it was red.
i think i only paid like $60 shipped for it

 

what are some good injectors to use on a stock fuel system, such asa touch bigger than stock and from another vehicle for stock swapping? I havea DOHC with somemods like Crane #18 Cams, CAI, 60mm TB and ported/shaved head.

I don't have alot of money so I am willing to do injectorswapping from other engines. I don't want to go with a bigger fuel pump just bigger injectors.

 

i know that injectors from a 1st gen. eclipse GSX will swap out, but you will have to splice in the 95 style plugs...

otherwise, accel makes good injectors

 

if you put bigger injectors and not bigger fuel pump/regulator your not going to get as much out of it as you could.

get a fuel pump off a sencond gen, thats what im doing tomorow.
and get the accel injectors.

spud, was it a universal udp? or for a neon?
