my 99 r/t engine has its 99 r/t head and a 98 sport bottom end

top has about 86k and bottom has about 45k on it

current performance mods;
mopar ecu
iceman cai
atx tb
magnaflow high flow cat

WANT TO KNOW???

WHAT ROUTE DO I GO TO GET MORE POWER, WHAT SHOULD MY NEXT UPGRADES BE?

thought about doing some internal engine work, cams, over boared head
modern performance sells a top an bottom rebuild kit with over boarded head/pistons and upgraded cams

i def wanna throw header and udp on once i get next paycheck

but as for serius n/a power, what do i do, open to all suggestions

what is the mopar ecu you are referring to

 

this would be a basic DOHC engine. anyway i think i would go with some 12:1 pistons, cams should be good toobut i wouldnt what to spend that much $. that just me thow


mopar PCM or engine control unit can be found at modern performance. com

 

your next step would probally be a bigger cam and cam springs... dont ***** foot around with the 10 12 just go straight for the 14s or 16s...

 

i have my block bored .020 over with HP coated pistons, crane #14's, crane valve springs, BC titanium retainers, mopar pcm, cai, udp, stage 1 clutch, ported head and intake manifold, shorty header, high flow cat, and still using a stock dohc muffler.....

with a good launch and shifting at 7500rpms, i can spin the tires when i shift into 3rd gear...just a bit of FYI
and the car takes off like i still have the turbo on it

it doesnt take a whole lot of money to make a fast car.....into my entire motor might now i only have about $1,000

i was just thinking, phantom grip LSD.... You know something to get the power down

 

intalling the phantom grip is not a beginner type of install though... theres alot that can go wrong... not saying that you dont know what your doing mullet but if you have never taken your bellhouseing off the transmission I would find something else to do...

you could also go for 2.5' exhaust...

ok so would i benifit form putting an r/t bottom in there, or should i go the upgraded pistons route?

i def wanna get new cams and headers and udp, as fo porting intake/exhaust, that gets pricy

and 95to9, i really wanna get that lsd, send my power to bot wheels, but i dont know how, and it quite an expensive upgrade.
thats not in my plans now, but will be once i figure out what im gonna do
