My car started making this whining noise a couple days ago. (Best i can descibe it) The noise slowly dies when I slow down and is noticeable above 25mph. Sounds like wheel bearings are worn out? If that's what it is how big of a problem is that and how soon do i need to get it fixt?

 

wheel bearings make more of a scraping noise grinding noise... 1000 bucks says its the throwout bearing...

 

could be the bearing. worst thing could happen is maybe bad wheel aligment and a really loud noise. you have to remove the knuckle and get the bearing press out.

when mine went out the noise would go away when i truned to that side and it loaded the bearing. louder the faster i went
