whats up evryone out their brand new to the dodge world here i just bought a dodge neon 1st gen 1998 its a 4 door sohc well what i want to do it swap out to a 420a motor and i right now have a 2.0 sohc my question is.... is it a direct bolt on dohc with the same motor mounts and if not what do i need to do to swap this motor out and put in the 2.0 dohc? i know i need cpu, wiring harness, axels, but what i want to know is if its a direct bolt on? thanks and hope to hear from you guys

i love when ppl see on ebay that the neon and eclipse and talon have 420a motors n their parts swap directly lol

 

ok so the dohc 2.0 i guess because yes i looked on ebay and it said 420 motor well i want to wasp the dohc on the neon will it be a direct bolt on for it with no mod's? ive always had hondas in the past so u know how hondas go their all direct bold ons pretty much im new to the american league well yes to answer the question i want to swap the dohc 2.0 on my neon

ive tried to put as much info on the swap as i could in that thread. its not a how-to yet. just info.

 

the dohc swap is a simple swap and fsu and I are getting a info page that is pretty compleate... just give us a day or two...
