just wondering if their is a radio code because my 1998 d odge neon has a radio when i turn it on the speakers sound like they work i hear a thump sound and i see on the radio a green line in the middle must mean the radio works does it need a code or somthing or does anyone know whats wrong?!!?!?!?!?!?! i cant ride without music!!!!! and if it is the code does anyone know any code that will work

 

there is no code for the radio... its shot... your choices are get a replacement stock radio... normally can find them for 20 bucks or so... or swap to a aftermarket radio...

 

k thanks well ig ot a check engine light also if i remove the positive wire for about a min and put it back on do u think it will take it off or does american cars have a diffrrent way of removing a check engine light
