Default Plymouth Neon, Dodge Neon engine swap

I have a 1999 Plymouth Neon SOHC and I'm going to purchase a 1999 Dodge Neon DOHC. I was wondering will the motor from the DOHC Neon fit into my SOHC Neon. Would I need to change anything? The problem is the Plymouth Neon has a bad motor and the Dodge Neon has a bad transmission.

Unhappy 2.4l head swap on dohc 2.0l block

hey guys i am new to this forum and am hoping you guys can help me with this project . so i have a 98 dohc neon fully built crane cams, and forged pistons with rods and so on.... so my head started to ticking noise bad and so i bought a 2.4l head with no more than 75,*** miles from a 99 stratus with the same matching cast #'s and am waiting to swap them out but i am not sure what i need in order to do the swap?? need some help. will the head be able to be interchanged or did i make a mistake in just buying the head? all i was able to find was the engine swap but nothing about the head swap on a 2.0l block ? well if you guys could help me i would appreciate it and would be extreamly helpful. thanx will post pictures up tommorrow
