the v-tech alows the car to keep a decent gas mileage by staying out of v-tech normally it hits 4k plus or so... by this time in NORMALL driving you are just about to shift... I know you would shift higher but think of the normall driver... It helps when they need a little extra umhp... or in your case to kick a neon's butt... v-tech kills gas mileage...

I'm not supporting honda... Just happen to own own as well... my wife drives it... she thinks its cute... and if shes happy thats all that matters... lol (married guys learn this)

and yes a 2 liter of mt dew has more displacement in the mt dew bottle then a D16 honda block or a B18 for that matter...

What is this "hate" of hondas? They build cars quite well, and can be quite fast. Fried has a 91 hatch with a turbo'd K20 running low 11's on the street in ULTRA sleeper mode. Only races bikes, viper's, vette's, supra's, etc. I sed to own a 87 crx si, and it was awesome. Would still have it , if the body did not rust out. Granted honda's have lower torque numbers, but there is more than one way to get the job done. I have beat hondas, and been beat by them. no losses lately, but it will happen. You wanna win more? Build a more productive platform. I'm swappen to a 2.4. If you want to keep the sohc, get dohc pistons and good flowing head, cam, and all the other bolt ons. Tune it, and try again.

I know plenty of old near stockchrysler turbo k cars that wouldn't think twice about handing a honda civic their ***, infact a buddy of mine knows somebody who has a 12 second turbovoyager vanwith a 2.5 Turbo running 15psi and slicks track proven.

can your moms caravan wipe a civic?

Import vs Domestic....the retarded war of words continues!

They both have their perks and downfalls. To each their own. People who pound home the domestic brand, I'm sure would mind driving around in a Ferrari if giving the opportunity
