I know plenty of old near stock chrysler turbo k cars that wouldn't think twice about handing a honda civic their ***, infact a buddy of mine knows somebody who has a 12 second turbo voyager van with a 2.5 Turbo running 15psi and slicks track proven.

can your moms caravan wipe a civic?
I near stock turbo k-car is not all that. Again, as stated, both can be great cars. Granted the cost tends to be higher, boosting a dohc honda engine (any of them) and dropping that in a hatch/crx and you will be hard pressed to catch it. Used to have a vid of a hatch pushing 580 walking all over a 600+hp supra. Power/weight ratio ftw
can a civic do this?

25psi on stock rods crank and pistons

that 2.5 turbomini van will put most Civics in their place without getting to half throttle.

"So why do we do this to Dodge Caravans and Plymouth Voyagers? Because it's fun and the factory made it easy for us! Many people don't know this, but in 1989 and 1990 these minivans were available with turbocharged 2.5L four cylinder engines. That's right, factory-built turbo minivans! These engines are actually pretty darn stout right out of the box and they take to performance upgrades very well; maintain a proper air/fuel ratio and you can run 25+ pounds of boost on the stock block, crank, rods, and pistons!
If you're looking for the ultimate in sneaky inexpensive speed, look no further."

oh and also, that civic prob had a b18c1(like a integra gsr motor)swap in it (more popular than the k series swaps bening that they are cheaper) and i know for a fact those motors make power up to 82 hundred r's
