what kind of fluid can i use instead of the mopar stuff? all the dealerships are closed today and iwanna drive my car!

 

any brand ATF+4 ........yes in a MTX

 

i filled mine half with 5w30 motor oil and half with lucas oil stabilizer.

feels a little stiff on a -3 degree morning, but it felt better afterwards.

 

try to get the mopar atf+4, walmart sells it for around 4 bucks a quart... the compound is 99.4% similer to the original mtx fluid... some collage kid in some high end chemistry class tested tons of differnent transmission fluids to figure it out...
