afraid of that. probably what i'll end up doing. called the parts department at the local dealership and they said that the specs for the bolt are 12x1.75 with a 6g242 in it. he couldn't tell me why it had the 6g242 so it might be a specialty bolt which sucks but i'll go to the local parts store and find the bolt if it looks the same i'll get it and see what it does. but in the mean time @#$#%$# @%% #$$# %#$.yea.

tried that on the bolt that goes through the knuckle......didn't work had to burn the bushing off on the car.try that on the crossmember one. anybody know if a threaded rod would work with a nut on each end, instead of a bolt?
