your not getting porper lube with that thick stuff,so some componets in you engine are getting really hot. the highest i would run would be a 10w 40.
just changing your oil isnt going to fixtheproblem you have to find your internal leak. whether its piston rings, valve guides or or a blown HG

i dont know of any oil that can stop your leak, i was just saying thats the highest viscosity that i would ever consider putting in my engine.
your engine has internal issues your not going to be able to fix it by swiching viscosity

yea but i mean i drive it on a road track so im agressive at the wheel thats y i put so high *** oil in it cause its going to get hot it might be time for a new rebuild kit its been 50,000 miles since i replaced anything its a new dropped engine i got that motha ****er up to 255bph on a sohc all motor haha runs at 7800 rpm i run the hell out of it so i guess im just going to get a rebuild kit

i would like to know what else i can do... i have changed the oil and put a new oil pan gasket on it. mine is a 98 neon. i just brought it.but it's not a really bad leak about a 1/2 qt every 4 or 5 days. is there anything thing that i can do because i travel alot for my job. i have 5-30 syn blend in it right now.
