I have a 98 neon 2.0 sohc. I was driving the other day and pulled up to a stop sign and the car just died had no power going to anything. So i open the hood and start to mess around i pushed/shook the battery tray area and bingo the lights came back on. I started it up and drove it home.

The just yesterday i was going down the road with my seat belt on and the dinger started to ding and the light came on the cluster all of my gauges went down and came right back up to where they were.

Also when driving at night i can see my headlights flickering and the radio gets dim and bright. Any Ideas

 

time for a new battery.. or you need to tighten your battery terminals.. thats what it sounds like to me

 

yea its your battery or the cables are loose or need to be replaced

 

Or corroded.
