the ACR was build for racing, the R/T was made to give the power and handleing on the ACR, but with more comfort options such as power windows/locks/mirrors, power sunroof, and other things that were optional on the R/T's unlike the ACR....
the 1st ACR's were only available to SCCA members....then eventually became available to the public
