so do you think that dodge new that the neon was going to be such a hit in the tuner world?? cuz i never even new the neon was special everyone that ive ever seen looks like a hunk of junk but then i got my car and actually researched into the neon and there SICK little cars that can hold there own.. so what do you think.. i think that dodge mostly made it for fuel economy becuz it gets pretty damn good gas milage.. but i guess they did make the RT so they had to know something

mostly for an economy car...and then the SCCA second. so its the best of both worlds. I've actually have had people talk trash about Neons (what a surprise) but then i would bring up the SCCA and ACR models...it almost shuts them up cause their Civics didn't do anything the Neon did in the SCCA lol.

They knew from the get go that it was going to be a hit in both worlds... what other car gets 30 mpg and is able to go to the scca track on the weekend and kill everything in its class... The ACR proved that they knew what the neon was capable of...

I think the independant rear suspension and 30+ Horsepower advantage the cars had over 2nd place in the compact class at the timemade a statment these cars were built to perform. Pit these Neons against cars they were made to compete against and they literally smack them down in most catogories and ratings are much better.

I was watching "Worlds Most Scariest Police Chases" last month and I seen atealsohc highline give the cops a good run for their money. The Neon easily out turned those big Crown Victorias and had enough speed to compliment the turning ability of the Neon. On roads where the chase got up to 90-100 the Neon made turns the cruisers had to slow down for, was quite funny to watch a little Neon do that good, in the end the Neon was rolled when he hit a bank at 60mph.
