if the bearing is really bad and you have been driving on it for a long time, then the hub might be messed up as well...
but if you cought it in time, then all you should need is the bearing

I heard that noise a while ago, like during last summer for a brief time. But it didn't last long and i didn't think much of it... then one i got my flat tire recently it came back. I think it's because of the donut spare i had on putting more pressure on the front left tire. I haven't driven much on it because of my flat tire so it should be ok. We'll see...
My wife drove over 1500 miles on a loud weel bearing to the point of when she finally told me about it all the ***** in the bearing were compleatly gone... metal on metal for a long time and everything was fine just removed the bearing shell from the hub and pressed in a new one and it was fine...
Not saying yours will be this lucky but it takes a bit to brake it...
