Mechanical Catalog - 1998 - Dodge - Neon
Front suspension, Suspension components, Front wheel bearing, Front wheel bearing, neon

$77.35
$62.65

$0.00
$62.65

http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com/

And by the way you dont need the whole assembly heres the bearing.. all you need to do is get it pressed out and the new one pressed in...

That's what the mechanic told me he might be able to do.

if the bearing is really bad and you have been driving on it for a long time, then the hub might be messed up as well...
but if you cought it in time, then all you should need is the bearing

I heard that noise a while ago, like during last summer for a brief time. But it didn't last long and i didn't think much of it... then one i got my flat tire recently it came back. I think it's because of the donut spare i had on putting more pressure on the front left tire. I haven't driven much on it because of my flat tire so it should be ok. We'll see...

My wife drove over 1500 miles on a loud weel bearing to the point of when she finally told me about it all the ***** in the bearing were compleatly gone... metal on metal for a long time and everything was fine just removed the bearing shell from the hub and pressed in a new one and it was fine...

Not saying yours will be this lucky but it takes a bit to brake it...
