last night i put in my lowering springs that are being discontinued on modern and it lowered the back a lot but didnt notice a whole lot on the front. also found out my shocks are completely busted. i can push them all the way in with noeffort and they wont come out by themselves. so i gotta take everything back apart when i have money for new shocks. im tuckin tire in the rear butcouldnt really notice much of a difference in the front. will they break in after a while and get lower? overall i am happy with them they are worth the money

 

are you sure you didnt put them on backwards, the ones i put on my neon i would think for sure the bigger looking ones go to the front, well i was wrong and had them backwards so the front dropped soo low and the back didnt

 

the springs will break in over time and you will notice the difference then

 

no im sure i have them installed properly but the back is lowered very nicely but not so much in the front. how long about will it take to fully break in.

 

the break in period all depends on how and how much you drive the car....

 

thats true. but does any one know where i can get some cheap or good shocks mine are completely shot they keep the car from bouncing like crazy cuz they are still really stiff when trying to pull them out but i can compress them completly without any problem.

 

i would upgrade to the KYB GR2's. even the Gabrials from Autozone are like 50 a piece. times that by four plus taxes and that equals 200+. the KYBs from Modern are $239+ shipping. and they are better than OEM.

 

i have the KYB GR-2's on my car now and they seem to work great
