to ask a more "simple" question wat would be the recommened/requirment parts to run the stock SRT4 turbo on a 98 DOHC motor as far as bottom end wise!?! it would be much appreciated if i could know wat piston size, compression ratio, and etc!! sry to ask so much but i cant seem to find any specs on a comparison ona SRT4 block to a 2.0DOHC block!!?[:@]

requirements... you can run that turbo on your stock block. i think its reccomended running around 7psi on stock compression (9.6:1).

when building a motor, $1500 wont get you a hell of alot...

what you need to think about is how much boost you wanna run....if your only gonna push about 10psi or less, then dont wast the money on lower compression or forged pistons...

if you run about 8psi on a stock bottom end then you will do just fine, though you can also use JE pistons that drop the compression to about 8.8:1...the difference, besides about $2,000 is that the car would actually run fasted on the stock bottom end...

only reason to upgrade the pistons for the srt4 turbo is if you plan on running more then 10psi..
but trust me, 8psi on a stock bottom end with a nice set of cams is alot faster then most people expect

with a completely stock internal engine and only an srt4 turbo with intercooler running 8 pounds of boost, and the mods to support it, your car will waste a stock srt4

with a built bottom end and an srt4 turbo, you would have the ability to run alot more boost...
when i was running 18psi, the car would easily take stage 3 sr4's, evo's and sti's
