Default loose windows

the windows in my 96 sit very loosely in the door frame. they move back and forth, and shake when i drive, mostly when i hit bumps, but only when the windows are down. im not sure if its a problem with the regulators or not, but i did try to adjust the bolts that determine the height and disntace the windows move. but theis didnt have any effect on the rattleing problem. any suggestions? do you think i need new window regulators. they are manual windows btw.

uhm, yeah. to get the window crank off, throw away your towel and for get about breaking it by prying it, theres a metal clip on the back of the handle, use a flat head to get it off. i just fixed my windows today, there are 4 white pieces that bolt to your window, these need to be put back on, mine fell out completely. window used to move side to side and back and forth. no more though.
