Default Manual Transmission

Hey guys

I'm lookin for a good manual tranmission that would compliment the 2.4 Turbo. Or should I stay with the stock MTX. I'm aiming at anywhere between 250-500 hp not sure yet lol.So I'm lookin for maybe different gear ratios that would help the turbo.Any input at all would help me a ton
Thanx =]

use the sohc tranny if you want your turbo to spool quick and have massive power quick... ideal for hybrids or anything bigger then a t3

use the rt tranny if you want to have longer gears and stay in gear longer... ideal srt-4 turbofold

there is a another tranny that would be best... however its on the export models... 4.12 final gear ratio

when you start talking boost...

I honestly dont think it matters... unless your talking the most ultimate of the ultimate... I mean there is a 404hp sohc turbo neon around... and thats the most I personally have heard of... you can get the dohc much much higher... like 650 range... but if you want the real deal and have tons of *** loads of money... get ahold of dcr and have him build you a punched out stroked 2.6... and turbo that bitch...

the neon was exported else where

some came with a 1.8 sohc and some came with a 2.0

but there 2.0 had a really tall 4.12 final drive ratio...
