just got home from auto zone had gentleman there do a code check for me and it said cylinder 2 was misfiring. so we removed the ignition coil pack and had him test that sure enough thats what it was lucky for us he had one in stock and it cost us $90.00 and took like 2 min to put on. so glad it wasnt the timing. Thank you for those that tried to help we really appriciate it
Nothing special. This comment is more towards sourcing a coil from the yard. Currently using a coil off a 04 stratus. As my neon is a 96, the connector is different. Soldered, and working fine. noticed the 2k plus strauts neons have the same connector for the coil, cam sensor (2.4L), and VSS (speed sensor). Newer connectors may help fight wiring issues.
