Default Supercharger

Well i got my supercharger today. Its off a boneville SS. I just have a few questions. First off. Does the supercharger NEED collant? What about oil?

i know, well at least, there are no aftermarket manufactors of superchargers for neons, but can anyone be used reltivly easliy?

like off a colbalt ss?

They take ALOT of modding to get s S/C to work. Everything has to be custom fitted and made.

fab up a mounting point on the block - figure out how to get a belt to its pulley - and route the piping. id imagine same thing goes as with a turbo - the stock maf sensor won't like the boost. gm uses mainly eaton superchargers. my grandfather's 04 impala ss ran to 60 in about 6.5 seconds. it was a big car though - still fun to drive.


got any pics of the one off the bonneville?

Neons don't have a MAF sensor....they have a MAP sensor

keys are a little far apart to try and claim typo - been reading too much car stuff today. lol

cobalt s/c probably wouldnt be ideal. it turns the air inleta direction that would be in towards the block on our cars. someone on this forum has a supercharged neon dont they?

yeah thats right - you have that s/c dont you??? just not fabbed up yet. then there is a red neon that already has the s/c on it. i think it had PA tags if i remember correctly. what is an m62 good for? like 5-10 psi on the bonneville right?
