The MTX PCM will not engage the torque converter....don't say you weren't warned!

aight, My local dodge dealer said it'd be fine. I checked another one, and they said the same thing.

Of course, they want you to bring it in when it overheats so they can service it

Oh, and not having the torque converter is bad for gas milage. It does only kick in after 45MPH depending on the load (something to think about).

what kind of time frame u think i'll start experiencing problems? I'd think that at first it wouldn't have even shifted up or down. that's just my thought though, and 3 dodge dealerships.

The PCM doesn't control the shifting at all. Like I said, the TC will only kick in after about 45MPH, so if you stay under that or do't go over that very often, you could probably get away with it.

Default UPDATE:: MTx ECU in an ATx

Just an update, I have been driving my car now for over 2 months and I have had no problems. No check engine light, no problems shifting, no problems with mpg, no problems at all, besides my AC being stupid.
