Factory Speakers? Do all the speakers go out or just one? If all 4 then it's going to be in your harness with loose wires.

all the speakers go out at once. and its not the head unit because the old stock radio did the same thing. but, its been awhile since the stock headunit was in there i will look for it and maybe reinstall it to rule out the headunit

where'd you buy your harness from? if it's one from best buy you had to connect the head unit's bare wire to the harness somehow, how did you do it? twist and tape? twist on connectors? or twist + solder then tape? I did the latter and no problems have arrived. I would suggest instead of black electrical tape, that you use some shrink tape. that works very well.

twist solder tape then Ziptied the wires individualy together honestly im pretty sure its not the harness. the car was all ghetto rigged when i got it i been working out the bugs since then. its mainly wiring issues. i just dont understand why all the speakers would all go out at the same time. guess ill check the ground later.

I bet its a speaker wire shorting out and kicking on the protector in the cd player to turn the channels off.

I STILL DONT KNOW HOW IT DIDNT BUT I TOOK A BALL POINT PEN AND BENT THE TABS DOWN ON THE FEMALE END AND HOOKED IT UP AND IT WORKED. FOR HOW LONG I DONT KNOW. PROLLY TILL THE NEXT SPEEDBUMP BUT WHATEVER I KNOW WHERE ITS AT NOW
