Just set the gasket and the bolts. The gasket should hold in place. Try a few drops of a gasket sealer to help make it stick to it. Why do you have just an open tube? I thought you said you fixed it right? You will know the differernce between oil and coolant. Rub it between ur fingers and see if its a lube.

coated my talon valve cover in blue engine enamel, sanded and polished the DOHC letters

got a new valve cover gasket set and installed with some gasket sealer. (oldgasket actually tore when i put the cover on the first time, so thats obviously thats why it leaked)

put a new pcv valve back on the car

anything i can run through my fuel to clean out the damage burning all that oil caused?

sea foam eats the carbon and other junk out of your engine. you put it in - then shut the car off immediatly - leaving the mixture in the cylinder walls. then u let it sit for a while. if you use too much you could hydrolock the engine.

it has to be injected into the cylinders - so with a neon you just pour about 1/3 of the can SLOWLY into the throttle body. slowly enough to keep the engine running while it gets in there. as soon as it's in you shut the car off. while the car is off the stuff goes to work. the longer you let it sit in there, the more it has a chance to clean.

then you start the car and run it. its going to smoke as the seafoamis burned out. it should take about 15 minutes depending on how much you use. some ppl drive it off - but you could get pulled over or cause an accident if someone is driving behind you. it smokes that badly. once again - depending on how dirty your engine is and how much seafoam you use.

you can also add it to your fuel tank and run the car. it will clean the lines, rail, and injectors.

most common applications split a can between the cylinders, fuel rail, and oil.

you have to change your oil a short time after you add the seafoam though. it loosens up junk in the crankcase and everywhere oil goes. so obviously that stuff ends up in your oil.
