i tried sanding down the outer layer of the head light to take that fog off.. is there a right way to do it or am i just stuck with it... i did it a mustang but not a neon...any help would b nice
well you don't just sand you wet sand. i started with 600 then 800 then 1500 and take your time after words use(well i used) mequires clear plastic cleaner to "buff it". if you just sanded them then they might be ruined, maybe!
ohhhh :X i would never sand them i used a high speed buffer and mothers polish and you can tell a night and day difference. you have to take them out or at least i did.. didnt want to mess up the paint and if you dont have a high speed buffer then use the pad and polish them for like 30 min. each
ill try the polishing fiirst. then if that dont work out then the sanding but yea... just want it to not have that foggy look. i thot about tinting them too but i dont think that would look good on a fogged over head light
sanding worked wonders for me. light output dramatically increased. didn't have a high speed buffer so i did it all by hand. don't look brand new but worked pretty good
