Default anyone have HIDs?

I wanted to know if anyone has HIDs for their Neon? If so, where, how much , and what about ease of install? Also, I would like to get a set with both high and low beam, if possible. I've seen a few sites with HIDs, but I'm a little cautious. I don't want to screw up what I have now, which is Depo clears and PIAA bulbs. Any help is appreciated.

Thats because you didn't get true HIDs. They cost upwards of $1000 for a real good set.

Ok folks. I bought these off of Ebay and they look awesome during the day and for high beam use work great as well. The low beams suck! Flashlights would work better. I bought the brightest most expensive SilverStar 9006 bulbs they make for nothing. I will probably go back to stock in my 98 SOHC as these are rediculous. Any 9006 bulb recommendations/upgrades? My blinkers are actually brighter than the headlights. 9005 bulb hi beam, 9006 low beam. http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...spagenameZWDVW

The low beams suck because you are probly using the hids in halogen housings, they aren't made for haolgen housings. They disperse the light everywhere but where you need it. In order to get the full brightness out of hid's you need to buy projector style headlights, I know they have them for the first gens. You will be doing the people in the oncoming direction a favor by not blinding them and you will have nice bright headlights. In my area people are being pulled over left and right for hid's since they are technically illegal if the car didn't come stock with them so all the cars with the halogen housings are getting stopped. With projector housings it will decrease your chance of being stopped becuase you will look like every other hid equiped car if a cop passes you. I'm just trying to say please don't buy hid kits for halogen housings for your safety and the people around you.
