anyone know??? if i do change the fluid will that help any???? thats the pic of the passenger side cv axle where something rubbed on it

you can always take the inspection plate off and see if a piece of clutch is flying around in there... there is a ring that goes on the clutch line where it connects to the fork and some times it falls off the line and drops to the bottom of the bellhouseing... but the scraping on your axel is perplexing... maybe you drove over something and it got stuck thats odd... I would still check the tranny oil and inspection plate... I would use atf+4 just for the reason of its red... you will be able to see any debris in it that may be there if you come across any more problems... just drain it in one of your wifes good white casorole dishes and check for debris then get a good hand pump and pump it back in if it looks good... you can re-use it if it looks good... the orig. tranny fluid was ment to last the life of your car...

ok well i took all the bolts out to get the inspection plate out and all i could do was swivel it back and forth it wouldnt come down..but didnt look like anything was loose inside..so i just but it all back together...

i tried again today i still cant take it off the car. but didnt look like anything was loose inthere so i just wont mess i with it any more..

Well... Dont look any father than that CV joint... That is obviously your clunking problem...
