well what i really wanna do is beat up on my buddys G.L.I. mostly stock puts around 205 to the wheels so you think a turbo would be the only way

what costs $10,000 thats what I want to know. I thinlk a hemi crate engine is close to $10,000 for 550hp.

pistons and Rods $800 Block and crank work $300 head work $200 plus $300 cam, intake $200, 60mm throttlebody $200,mopar pcm $150. Hell if you wanted put a sohc head on a 2.4 block I'm basing these off of what I put into my turbo dohc at Car QuestAuto Parts and Machine shop.Thats about what all the machine work costed and slash and my dad helped mebuild the motor, the only thing is i don't have a mopar pcm.

The only thing that would suggest expensive would be nitrous or professional turbo with injectors.

i'm nottrying to insult you in anyway 9596transplantneon i just think $10,000 its 2/3rds higher than it really is to build a 200-250hp motor.

 

best thing you could do is swap to a 2.4 much easyer to hit 200+ that way


so what your trying to say is that you have an engine that will put 200 hp down, and you not even using it.

 

its in the car but I'm waiting on the PT clutch to arrive. the only difference is my motor is turbo charged and pretty much the keith blackpistons i gotare 8-1 and were close tothe same price as the 12-1 option so you could build a convincing motor for not very much difference than a turbo motor. the difference between NA power and turbo power is the compression and of course the turbo itself

Yes, my wifes highline and my Sport Neon the wifes Neon is actually in my name but i call it hers because she uses it to do everything. I also have 2 parts neons i might be selling soon as well, a 2 door and 4 door both are dohc.
