yes the 96 wires are the same color... I cant find my chiltons right now so i cant tell you what wires right now but if you can get a 97 get it ... I promise you I will find out...

 

well guys, got the wiring harness but no luck, it will crank over but no spark at all, i even put a screw driver on the coil where the spark plug goes on to and didnt even zap me(i know dumb idea)... now how hard is it to remove an engine? i got another one here so i think im gunna swap instead of figure this bullshiz out, the reason im swappin is cuz its knockin real bad on the lower end so mise well do it now. and its a 5 speed and never did a clutch so.... and i didnt tellyas why i needed a harness so il tell yas, i was driving home 2 nights ago and my car suddenly shut off, didnt start or nuttin... looked under hood and it got wraped around cv axle and destroyed everything... im still not giving up on my neon!

k lol re read what happends to my car ony i had to get another wiring harness.. it melted everything from the alt and up to the engine... now i got the new wiring harness and it wont even start now.. so i was wondering on how hard it was to drop the engine out cuz i got another one laying around... sorry for makin the last post like that idk what i was thinking
