I am doing a timing belt/ head gasket, and I wanted to know if I have to buy new head bolts? The ones that I have are not mared or displaying any signs of physical damage. Are they just something I should buy for cheap insurance, or can I use the old ones?

any time that you take the head bolts out you MUST replace them... when properly tq'ed they are taken beond there streaching point and hence are not reusable...
