So as lots of you know i swapped over to the 3.94...

I had to replace the passenger side axel seal... and as you can see in the pic below i have a problem...

I know the pic doesent do it justice, hence why i made it so damn big... but right where the stream of tranny fluid is coming out the edge is lipped up just a hair letting fluid out... I'm so pissed... is there a way around getting it flattened back down with a hammer without taking the axel back out???

I stuck my finger in the inspection hole and it's full... so im not worryied that much just sucks that I leave a damn red puddle everywhere... looks like my car is on its period... grrrr...

where did you buy the seal?

 

got it at napa... it's my fault for not checking before installing it...

 

nothing can ever go good....it will be going great then something has to go wrong... its just the neon i sware...[8D]

lol well i hope i dont jinx myself cuz i finally have everything going great... but i still dont know how much oil i have in my car.. well i guess i know but i dont know how much i need and i dont want to overfill it .. cuz ive heard that causes just as much trouble as underfilling it... but i know i have a leak somewere.... prolly the blk Rtv oil pan gasket [8D]

well have fun getting that thing in there... are you gonna have to drop the trans becuz i know when we were putting them in mine it was pretty time consuming and we had plenty of room to get to it.. well let me know how it turns out...
