head work?

Default head work?

i have three DOHC heads sitting around and wanna send one away to get some head work done.. was thinking something like potr n' polish or stiffer vaulve springs. any suggestions?

you dont need stiffer valve springs unless you get performance cams...and in that case i would also reccomend some titanium valve spring retainers (i have a set of both for sale if your interrested)

port and polishing can really make a big difference if done right

how much?! hell yeah i am interested! lol cause (dunno if you read my other thread but i lost my licenses for a year due to a street race'n ordeal) so i have a year till i can drive my neon again, and i was lookin at crower stage 2 cams so i guess i would need some stiffer ones huh? where you from? i am from PA and was gonna get all the head work done by slowboy racing out of indiana, ever hear of them?

slowboy is pretty expensive... AMM does head work and is pretty cheap... his street port starts at 500 bucks and it is more like slowboys street/race port... and his race port is far beond slowboys and is only 1000 if i remember right... I would talk to him... if you need his email or phone number let me know...

yep i port heads alright! street (aka mild) porting starts at 550.00 and can go up from there depending on options and extras.

oh.. by the time i would pay to ship a head the whole way to him then the price of his work and shipping back i would prob be bettter off to just go to slowboy.. PA sucks thanks anyway.. oh and hey spud how bout some prices man
