I HAVE THE ATX TB ON MY 98 R/T FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS NOW .WHEN I FIRST PUT IT ON THE CAR SEEMED TO HAVE ALOT MORE POWER AND ALOT LESS PEDDAL ON TAKE OFF BUT NOW IT SEEMS TO BE RUNNIN LIKE I HAVE THE MTX TB BACK ON BESIDES 02S EVERYTHING ELSE IS FAIRLY NEW.

 

Check for codes. What is it doing that seems wrong to you?

 

WHEN I ACCELERATE I SEEMS THAT SOMETHING IS HOLDING IT BACK.IT TAKES A LOT MORE POWER TO TAT OFF THAN USUAL .NOW I HAVE AN EXSHAUST LEAK COMIN FROM SOME WHERE AFTR I TOOK MY HEADER OFF (FOR STATE INSPECTION ).COULD THAT LEAK MAYBE CAUSE POWER LOSS.BRAKES ARE FINE ALL CALIPERS ARE IN GOOD WORKIN CONDITION LIKE I SAID EVERY THING IS FAIRLY NEW

 

my cil is on but i think thats because i gave my lil bro the car a couple of years ago and he broke the timing belt which in turn f***ed up the water pump among other things internal. i paid 1600$ to get rebuilt and someone told me that my pcm may have stored the code when it happened and it hasnt gone off since

 

If you sent it in to have the engine rebuilt, they would clear the code for you. If you lived in MN i could hook my scan tool up to it and clear it and see what other codes you have.

You could also go to any shop and just tell them that something is messed up and they can lookup your codes for you.
