when I lived ina townhome a few years ago, I used to **** the neighbors off with a homebrew powered sub - 1-Kicker 18" sub and a Carver amp powered by a 150watt 12volt power supply. My bedroom was above their garage and they had a bad habit of using their garage as their front door at 2, 3, 4 am in the morning, up down up down, it was driving me crazy. So everytime they did that, since they slept during the day and their bedroom was on the other side of my living room wall where the stereo was... I would put on my bass test tone cd, one with the test tones at like 30Hz, then at 35Hz and then at 40Hz and so on and put the cd player on repeat and turn it up fairly loud and then leave for a few hours. And since I would have to remove all the pictures and stuff that would fall off shelves and such in my unit, I KNOW that their stuff was vibrating off the walls too. I only had to do this a couple of times before they stopped using their garage as their front door.
if i hook the yellow and red up directly to the battery, will i need any sort of adapter

just hook the red and yellow wires together to the battery and then hook the black wire to the battery...then just throw a battery charger on it every once and a while
