Default 97 Neon Help needed

Got a 97 Dodge Neon SOHC with overheating problems, with possible computer problem. The Neon start overheating about a month ago which was because the fans wouldnt kick on. Test fans and they seem to work. So I took it to a garage and they replace the termostat, i believe CTS and fans, but they still wouldnt run. They tried reading the computer for codes but the computer wouldnt allow it to connect. So I was told its most likely the computers bad and preventing the fans from running. So I had the fans wired to the fuse block which work flawless for about 2 weeks. Then it kicked a fuse and now the car wont start. It seems as if the cars dead but I got headlights, interior light, horn, power sunroof. Everything else does not work. If it matters I had the fan wired into the power sunroof fuse. So does anyone have any ideas?

If it is the computer what do you think of this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem, my scan tool would not connect to the pcm so I can read the codes but I had a burnt fuse for the radio, which I guess is wired in with the connector to the pcm. After I replaced the fuse my scan tool and car where communicating. I found a pcm for 234.99 from http://www.modernperformance.com/pro...oducts_id=1429. They call it a perfomance pcm im not sure if it is but its about the same price and its brand new.

Did you check the fan or fuse relay?

The Mopar PCM from Modern is great, do not buy the eBay PCM.
